Middle Fork Feather River Fly Fishing Clinic

A full day of learning  and exploring the Middle Fork Feather River with Matt from  Lost Sierra Fly Guide.  . In the morning we focus on learning how to effectively Euro Nymph on a long Mono Rig leaderand how and why I use the Mono Rig. Matt will share details from custom-made leaders to hand-tied flys, presentations, line management, casting, drift, and connecting with the fish! Throughout the day, we'll lightly discuss other techniques that are effective on the MFF river, while our primary focus is on Euro Nymphing,  we will also explore the dry dropper, indicator nymphing, stripping and jigging streamers, and the late afternoon dry fly hatch.   The morning will focus on demonstrations and after lunch, we will apply those techniques to the river with one-on-one feedback from Matt.   In addition to the river fishing, Matt will share some great fishing spots.
