Registration is closed

Register for the series on the event on January 3. Tying vise and tools are required. Materials for that evening's flies will be provided and the cost shared among the attendees.

John Marcacci leads this annual fly tying class. Students from beginner tiers on up are welcome. The students can help direct the class by indicating what type of flies they would like to learn. John will illustrate a variety of tying techniques which the students can then practice and apply to other flies.

The class meets at Dean McKay's house in Tahoe City on 4 Tuesday evenings in January at 6 pm (Jan 3, 17, 24 and 31). The room can accommodate 7 students.

There is no charge for the class, but students will be asked to contribute toward the cost of materials that will be provided. All students should have a vise and set of basic tools (scissors, bobbin, whip finisher, bodkin).

The objective of the class is to have a good time, learn some new techniques and tie some new flies!
